Shrubb signs with William Woods

West Plains High School senior Zoe Shrubb has signed a letter of intent to attend and play basketball at William Woods University in Fulton. The signing ceremony was held March 27, in the high school cafeteria. "Zoe Shrubb has such a unique ability to hit the big shot when it counts the most," Lady Zizzers Head Coach Christy Otter said. "I know from talking to the college coach at William Woods, she has told me, 'We don't have a player in our program right now who is like that.' I know she is really looking forward to having a player like Zoe who will bring that presence to the floor, to be able to catch and shoot, and knock down a big shot for their team. I think Zoe's going to do good things at William Woods." Seated, from left: Otter, Shrubb and assistant coach Madison Stevens. Standing: assistant coach Eli Ernst.
