The Missouri Department of Transportation has scheduled upcoming lane reductions for two sections of U.S. 63 in West Plains for pavement repairs, as well as a road closure in neighboring Wright County for a culvert replacement.
Northbound and southbound U.S. 63 will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction between Wayhaven Avenue and CC Highway in northern West Plains. Weather permitting, work will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily from April 13 through April 16.
Further south in West Plains, southbound U.S. 63 will also be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction between Lanton Road and Creamery Road. Weather permitting, this pavement repair project will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 14 and 15.
Both work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the areas.
