A 23-year-old woman suffered serious injuries when a utility overturned at 12:30 a.m. Thursday on County Road 6980, 7 miles southwest of West Plains, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Tpr. A.K. Hughston with Troop G of the patrol, Willow Springs, reported the year and model of the UTV and the direction it was traveling was unknown, and it was removed from the scene by an unknown person.
The victim, a West Plains resident, was not wearing a helmet or using a seat belt, and was flown by Air Evac to Cox South Medical Center in Springfield for treatment, the report shows.
