West Plains Pride will host a "Splash Bash" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 8, at Galloway Park.
Admission is a donation of school supplies or healthy snacks, which will benefit the West Plains R-7 Bridges program for underprivileged youths.
Open to the LGBTQIA+ community and allies, the event features a reusable water balloon and squirt gun fight, a "Splashion Show" water-themed outfit contest with prizes, and giveaways. The Clean Plate food truck will also be on-site to offer refreshments.
