Zackery Johnston, 39, of Gamaliel, was fatally injured in the crash, according to a report from Trooper First Class Clint Henderson with Arkansas State Police Troop I in Harrison. Johnston was the driver of a southbound 1999 Isuzu that crossed the center line and struck an oncoming 2019 Jeep head-on.

Johnston’s body was held at the Baxter County, Ark., morgue.

The driver of the Jeep, Emily “Annie” Noblin, 44, West Plains, was flown to Cox South Medical Center in Springfield for treatment of her injuries.
