Logan Adam Davis, Willow Springs, was ticketed at 7:14 p.m. April 18, on a charge of driving a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility. Officer Cary Gates.

Mitchell August Reed, Cape Girardeau, was ticketed at 9:06 a.m. April 19 on a charge of failure to stop at a stop sign. Officer Gates.

Penny Lynn Myers, Mtn. View, was ticketed at 9:32 a.m. April 19 on a charge of failure to stop at a stop sign. Officer Gates.

Courtney Leigh Ann Cook, West Plains, was ticketed at 9:57 a.m. April 19 on a charge of failure to stop at a stop sign. Officer Gates.

Jason Darrell Piatt, Salem, was ticketed at 10:01 a.m. April 19 on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Jim Hedlesten.

Yakov Yevgeniyevic Yudin, Marshfield, was ticketed at 2:06 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer McGinnis.

Victoria Renee Deason, West Plains, was ticketed at 4:11 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer McGinnis.

INCIDENT REPORTS

At 9:16 p.m. April 21, Officer McGinnis found a backpack in the parking lot of Booster Field and took it to the police station to place in lost and found.

Staff at Willow Springs City Hall called at 1:35 p.m. April 22 to report a cat that had been hit by a vehicle on Springfield Road. Animal Control Officer collected the cat’s remains and they were disposed of without incident.

At 9:52 p.m. April 22, Officer McGinnis and Sgt. David Struble were dispatched to East High Street for a verbal domestic disturbance. The parties were separated for the night.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

On April 18, Officer McGinnis responded to East Sixth Street to assist emergency medical personnel.

Chief Wes Ellison responded on April 18 to a home in the area of East Fourth and Garfield streets for an open door and conducted a building check.

On April 18, Officer Joby Hoopes responded to Pine Grove Road for a missing youth, tried to locate the child and was unsuccessful.

A person went to the police station on April 18 to inquire if anyone had reported a missing dog. ACO Templemere.

On April 18, Officer Gates assisted a stranded motorist at a four-way stop.

Officer Wade Bloomer responded on April 18 to Railroad Drive to assist Howell County deputies.

On April 19, Officer Hoopes found paraphernalia in the road at an unspecified location and properly disposed of it.

Officer Bloomer was locking up the golf course on April 19 and encountered a suspicious person, with whom he made contact.

On April 20, Officer Hoopes responded to a complaint about youths and they were gone when he arrived.

Officer Hoopes responded on April 20 to a report of someone walking a dog off-leash, but did not find anyone matching the description.

On April 21, a person asked Officer Bloomer for a courtesy ride from North Ferguson Street.

Officer Barnhouse spoke on April 21 to someone on East Main Street about a civil matter, and the person said they just wanted a report taken for documentation.

On April 21, Officer Barnhouse assisted a motorist on West Main Street.

A woman called on April 21 to request a well-being check on her husband on West Main Street. Officer Barnhouse responded.

On April 21, Officer Barnhouse responded to a call about a suicidal person in the area of North Ferguson and High streets and conducted a well-being check.

Officer McGinnis conducted a well-being check on April 21 on North Center Street and everything was fine.

On April 22, Officer McGinnis received information about a speeding vehicle on U.S. 60/63.

Officer Barnhouse spoke to the manager of the senior center on April 22 regarding a vehicle.

At 3:28 p.m. April 22, a citizen called police to report someone walking down the middle of Z Highway.

Officer McGinnis responded at 11 p.m. April 22 to East Main Street for reports of trucks racing.

At 2:26 a.m. Tuesday, Officer McGinnis was conducting building checks and found an unsecured door on West Main Street. He informed the tenant.

Officer McGinnis assisted emergency medical personnel at 4:26 a.m. Tuesday on West Fourth Street.

At 9:55 a.m. Tuesday, Chief Ellison, Assistant Chief Al Lewis and Officer Barnhouse responded to a location on Highway 76 to assist the Willow Springs Fire Department.

A person went to the police station at 11:11 a.m. Tuesday to see if a wallet had been turned in. Officer Barnhouse.

At 5:37 p.m. Tuesday, Officer Barnhouse conducted a well-being check in the area of Holloway and Horak drives. Everything was fine.

Officer McGinnis responded at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday to Lane Street for a report of a burning barrel; it was controlled.

At 10:58 a.m. Wednesday, ACO Templemere and Officer David Hocking responded to North Ash Street for a call regarding an injured fox.

Officer Gates responded at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday to East Main Street for a suspicious person.

At 6:47 p.m. Wednesday, Officer Gates conducted a well-being check at a home on East Main Street and found a person had died.
