Katherine Louise Cox, Upland, Ind., was ticketed by Officer Mark Templemere at 5:05 a.m. on charges of disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
June 30
At 2:40 a.m., Officers Ryan McGinnis and Corey Clark stopped a vehicle. A person was taken into custody on a charge of illegal immigration and transported to a federal detainment center for deportation.
July 5
Officer Jim Hedlesten was dispatched at 11:42 a.m. to South Center Street to take a report of property damage. Between June 1 and July 4, an unknown person cut the copper line on a propane tank.
July 8
Sgt. David Hocking took a report of vandalism and property damage on North Ferguson Street. A man reported an ex-girlfriend had damaged his property. She was found and arrested, and pending charges were forwarded to the municipal court. Rachel Lee Prater, Willow Springs, was ticketed on the property damage charge.
July 10
Anthony David Barton, Willow Springs, was ticketed by Officer Joe Barnhouse at 1:11 p.m. on a charge of first-degree trespassing.
July 15
Hayden Joseph Brannan, Willow Springs, was ticketed by Officer Clark at 2:59 a.m. on a charge of domestic assault. The officer had responded half an hour earlier to a verbal domestic disturbance call on the 200 block of East High Street, in which a woman reported her boy friend had grabbed her and held her down as she tried to call police. Brannan was found at the home, and booked and released with a summons.
July 16
At 8:15 p.m., Officer Barnhouse reported that he, Officer Templemere and Sgt. Hocking teamed up with Howell County deputies to investigate a case involving a possible stolen four-wheeler. The vehicle was located. A suspect was taken into custody and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Howell County jail pending formal charges.
July 24
Kimberly Rena Abbott, Willow Springs, was arrested and ticketed by Deputy Chief Ryan Boyle at 8:37 a.m. on charges of second-degree trespassing and resisting arrest. Boyle had been dispatched at 8:12 a.m. to the 100 block of East Main Street for a peace disturbance and trespassing complaint.
July 25
Kenneth Evan Head, Houston, was ticketed by Officer Barnhouse at 1:09 p.m. on charges of driving a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility, leaving the scene of a crash and property damage.
July 28
At 10:14 p.m., Officers McGinnis and Clark responded to an active domestic disturbance on Corn Avenue. Both parties were separated. Austen Bo Rost, Mtn. View, was ticketed by Officer McGinnis on charges of domestic assault and being a minor visibly intoxicated. Ashtynn Lea Pike, Willow Springs, was ticketed by Officer Clark on a charge of domestic assault.
