The Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Willow Springs and Pizza Americana, will host the first of three Music on Main Street summer concerts this evening.
The free community event will feature live entertainment by Molly Clair. The performance will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the 200 block of East Main Street. To accommodate the event setup and ensure a safe atmosphere, the street will close to traffic beginning at 4 p.m.
Organizers encourage attendees to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Guests are welcome to bring their own meals or purchase food from downtown restaurants to enjoy while taking in the music. The event is designed to bring families, friends, and visitors together while supporting local commerce.
"We're excited to kick off this summer with this new event 'Music on Main Street' and provide a fun, family-friendly event for our community," said Kim McCormick, executive director of the Willow Springs Chamber. "These concerts are a great way to enjoy local talent, support our downtown businesses, and spend quality time with family and friends."
The concert is sponsored by the Willow Springs License Office, American Pride Roofing and Pizza Americana.
