Zizzers soccer bounces back with 7-0 shutout of Aurora

West Plains junior Isaac Ayala (10) advances the ball during the soccer Zizzers' 7-0 shutout victory over the Aurora Houn' Dawgs on Tuesday at Zizzer Stadium. Ayala tallied a goal and an assist in a win that Head Coach Jimmy Miller called the team's most complete game to date. The dominant home performance helped the Zizzers bounce back from a pair of tough road losses, including a 9-1 defeat to Sikeston in 110-degree heat on Sept. 5. Cameron Miller led the scoring against Aurora with two goals, while goalkeeper Hunter Lange anchored the defense to secure the clean sheet.
