A civil lawsuit has been filed against an employee of Ozark Horizon State School, the second of such lawsuits filed by Dayrell Scrivner of Scrivner Law Firm in Branson, after allegations surfaced in February that the employee abused or neglected a student and endangered the child’s welfare.

The Diaper Resource Center (DRC) in West Plains was organized in early 2015 with the mission “to furnish local distributing agencies with diapers for at-risk, early childhood youth to enhance the families’ resources and improve their well-being,” and eight years into striving toward that goal, it seems to be making strides.
