Adams commits to Northwest track and field

West Plains High School senior and track and field team standout Mylea Adams has signed a letter of intent to attend and continue her athletic career at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville. The signing ceremony was held April 17 at the high school. "Mylea has had a really strong high school athletic career," West Plains track and field Head Coach Alicia Gunter said. "On Zizzer track and field she's left her mark, and people will be talking about her and referencing her for a long time. I can't wait to see what she does at the collegiate level when she gets specialized even a little more. I think things will be good for her and she will do big things in college. I can't wait to support her from the Zizzer end." Seated, from left: West Plains coach Hailey Beazley, Adams and Gunter. Standing: coaches Tim Smith and Zach Feurt.
