The Greater West Plains Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking sponsors and preparing to open applications for its 2027 LEAD West Plains community leadership program.
The chamber's signature program is designed to develop engaged local leaders by connecting businesses, organizations and community partners. Through networking and hands-on learning, participants attend sessions focused on economic development, education, health care, government and business to gain a broader perspective of the region.
Chamber officials said local business support is essential to the program's success, and sponsors receive recognition for their investment in community leadership development. Businesses and organizations interested in sponsoring the 2027 initiative can contact the chamber at 417-256-4433 or info@wpchamber.com.
Applications for the 2027 class will open Oct. 1 and can be completed online at wpchamber.com/lead-west-plains.
