The Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce recently recognized Howell County News for 25 years in business. During the recognition ceremony, chamber Treasurer Robert Hollis presented a commemorative plaque to current owners Ron and Amanda Mendez and their children. Chamber Director Kim McCormick also presented founder Kim Rich with a floral arrangement in recognition of her role in establishing the publication and operating it for 18 years. Also attending were Rich’s children, Holly Crosswhite and Heidi Wehmer, who grew up around the Howell County News office. The chamber congratulated the Mendez family, Rich and the Howell County News family on the publication’s 25-year milestone. Rich is center left in the front row, and Amanda Mendez is center right, with husband Ron behind her.
