We are happy to support a raffle for Sweet N Stitches Charity Sewing, where all proceeds go toward Sleep in Heavenly Peace. This organization builds beds for children in our community who do not have one. Last year, 300 beds were built thanks to our community’s generosity! They will raffle an Americana quilt in honor of the 250th anniversary of our country, with the drawing to be held Saturday.
New Vendors and Products
The market is blooming with gorgeous spring hanging baskets and flowers. Look for begonias, wave petunias, marigolds, verbena, dianthus, impatiens, heliotrope and plenty of veggie starter plants for your garden. Jess is back with his produce trailer, harvesting fresh produce and herbs right on the spot.
Additionally, James will have all sorts of wood-based crafts including garden planting boxes and candle holders. He can also custom build items for you.
Don’t forget that Mother’s Day is coming up soon; many vendors will have wonderful gift baskets for Mom, so stay tuned for updates.
Food Court Highlights, Market Favorites
The food court features Tamales To Go, serving authentic Mexican pork and chicken tamales, rajas con queso and aguas frescas. Grassy Hill Farms will have authentic Filipino pork adobo, steamed buns and egg rolls, while Tribal Cajun will be serving up its signature Cajun food.
Market favorites also include local beef, raw honey, sourdough, self-defense key chains, boba tea and Alpha Gal syndrom-friendly fried pies.
The market sets up from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays (weather permitting) at the Endurance Church parking lot, 805 Worley Drive in West Plains (next to Hirsch Feed & Farm Supply).
We accept SNAP/EBT, Double Up Bucks (DUBS), cash and cards. Follow us on Facebook @gofarmwestplains or visit OzarkMarketPlace.com.
We look forward to seeing everyone Saturday!
