Ozarks Healthcare has received the American Heart Association’s Commitment to Quality award for achieving high performance across three or more clinical areas in the organization's Get With The Guidelines program.
Hospitals that earn the recognition demonstrate a comprehensive, systemwide approach to quality improvement. By achieving recognition in three or more Get With The Guidelines programs, these organizations commit to using real-time data registries, cross-disciplinary collaboration and evidence-based clinical protocols to raise the standard of care across multiple medical specialties.
“This recognition reflects our team’s dedication to treating the whole person, not just a single condition,” said Terence Farrell, president and CEO of Ozarks Healthcare. “We remain focused on continuous improvement and delivering the highest quality care across every department.”
Get With The Guidelines is a hospital-based quality improvement initiative developed by the American Heart Association. The program is designed to help ensure patients receive care that aligns with the most current, science-based guidelines. Participating facilities benefit from peer benchmarking, performance feedback and clinical tools to drive better patient outcomes.
“This award highlights the impressive commitment Ozarks Healthcare has made to improving care across multiple disciplines,” said Dr. Karen E. Joynt Maddox, chair of the American Heart Association Quality Oversight Committee. “By taking a systems-level approach to quality, these hospitals are building a strong foundation for better outcomes, fewer complications and healthier communities.”
