The 2026 West Plains Showdown Volleyball Tournament is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Sept. 12 at the West Plains Civic Center, 110 St. Louis St.
The entry fee for participating teams is $300, which must be paid prior to the tournament. Checks should be made payable to West Plains High School Volleyball and mailed to 602 E. Olden, West Plains, MO 65775.
The tournament will feature Gold and Silver divisions. First- and second-place teams in the Gold Division will receive trophies, while the first-place team in the Silver Division will receive a plaque.
Medals will be awarded to an all-tournament team. The team will feature one player from each Silver Championship team, one player from all Gold Bracket teams, one additional player from the Gold Championship teams, and a Tournament MVP selected from the Gold Championship team.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for the teams. Concessions will be available for attendees, but outside food and coolers will not be allowed inside the civic center.
Organizers note that seating is limited on the back courts. Fans are asked to be courteous and allow seating for the supporters of currently competing teams. Spectators should relocate to another area once their team's game has concluded.
