Three University of Missouri football players were named to the 2026 preseason All-SEC team, the league office announced Friday at the conclusion of SEC Kickoff in Tampa, Fla.
The team was voted on by media members who attended the four-day preseason event.
Running back Ahmad Hardy and left tackle Cayden Green were selected to the first team, while long snapper Brett Le Blanc earned third-team recognition.
Hardy, a returning consensus All-American who is recovering from an offseason injury, rushed for a program-record 1,649 yards and 16 touchdowns last season. He recorded seven 100-yard rushing games and became just the sixth player in SEC history to rush for 300 yards in a single game. A finalist for the Doak Walker Award, given to the nation’s top running back, Hardy forced 97 missed tackles as a sophomore and gained 71.9% of his rushing yards (1,186) after contact.
Green, a senior from Lee's Summit, earned preseason honors for the second straight year. Entering his third season as a key piece of the Tigers’ offensive front, the former first-team All-SEC selection helped clear a path for the nation’s No. 8 rushing offense (2,968 yards) last year while allowing just two sacks in 362 pass attempts.
Le Blanc, a senior from Elkhorn, Wisc., started all 13 games for the Tigers last season. He executed 108 clean snaps in 2025 and will return as a vital part of Missouri's special teams unit.
The Tigers open the 2026 season with the "Kickoff in CoMo" on Sept. 3 at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on the SEC Network.
The matchup marks the fifth consecutive year Missouri has opened its season in primetime and its ninth weeknight home game since 2015. Fans can purchase a four-ticket package to the home opener for $80.
