Posted

Scott Corman Cattle of Pomona is a new member of the American Angus Association, according to Mark McCully, CEO of the national breed organization headquartered in St. Joseph.

The American Angus Association has more than 21,000 active adult and junior members and is the largest beef breed association in the world. Its computerized records include information on more than 21 million registered Angus.

The association records ancestral information and keeps production records and genomic data on individual animals to develop selection tools for its members. Its programs and services help members select animals for their herds and market genetics for the beef cattle industry.
