Willow Springs Chamber welcomes new coffee trailer

The Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce recently held a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Place Drink Co., 113 W. First St. in Willow Springs. Owners Melody Buse and Christine Collins, holding the scissors at center, opened the vintage-style coffee trailer with drive-up and walk-up service, covered outdoor seating and space for customers to gather. The business is located near the site of the former Horton Hotel, once a busy stop near the railroad tracks in downtown Willow Springs. Buse and Collins said they hope to create a welcoming place where residents can visit, relax and gather. The mobile trailer also is expected to appear at local events and festivals.
