The West Plains High School athletics department has announced its schedule of summer sports camps, offering local youths a chance to build their skills under the guidance of Zizzer coaches and players.
Lady Zizzer Soccer
The Lady Zizzers soccer program will host its summer camp June 8 through 11.
The camp will feature two daily sessions divided by grade level. Players in second through sixth grades will meet from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by seventh through 12th graders from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The cost to attend is $30 per player. Participants can register in advance online or sign up in person on the first day of the camp.
Lady Zizzer Basketball
The Lady Zizzer basketball program will host its camp in mid-May, divided into two age groups.
Students in third through eighth grades will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. May 19 through 21 at West Plains Middle School. High school players in ninth through 12th grades will meet from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. May 18 through 21 at the West Plains High School gym.
The cost is $25, with checks made payable to Lady Zizzer Basketball. Participants who register by Friday will receive a T-shirt.
Summer Baseball
The Zizzer summer baseball camp for boys entering second through ninth grades will run May 26 through 28.
Led by Zizzer coaches and players, the camp will focus on fundamental skills, arm health and game strategies. Second through fifth graders will meet from 8 to 10 a.m., while sixth through ninth graders will meet from 10 a.m. to noon.
The cost is $25, which includes a camp T-shirt. Campers in seventh through ninth grades must provide proof of a physical to participate.

Lady Zizzer Tennis
The Lady Zizzer summer tennis camp for girls in seventh through 12th grades will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. June 22 through 25 at the West Plains High School tennis courts.
The cost is $25 and includes a camp T-shirt. Early registration is not required, but students must have a current physical and insurance on file with the school to participate.
