This pencil self-portrait by Lonnie Mueser, West Plains, “Selfie 2.0,” is part of an America-themed exhibit on display through Sept. 26 at the Harlin Museum, 405 Worcester St. in West Plains. Admission is free, but donations are accepted, and voting is ongoing for people’s choice in all three categories: landscapes, portraits and symbols and icons. In addition to the current fine arts show, pieces of the museum’s permanent collection are on display, including artifacts, memorabilia celebrating area celebrities and athletes, and tools, clothing and household items of the past. Museum hours are noon to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays.
