The Missouri Department of Transportation has scheduled several upcoming lane reductions across the region as construction crews perform pavement repairs. All affected roads will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction.
In Howell County, ZZ Highway will be reduced along a roughly 7.5-mile stretch from U.S. 63 in West Plains east to County Road 8160. Weather permitting, work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily from Oct. 2 through 30.
In Shannon County, westbound U.S. 60 will be reduced from E Highway to FF Highway in Birch Tree. Work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
In Texas County, K Highway will be reduced from KK Highway to Highway 17 in Summersville. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily from Monday through Oct. 30.
All work zones will be marked with signs, and motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the areas.
