On March 24, David Wentz, 72, Hartshorn, was ticketed at 6:24 p.m. by Sgt. Nathan Griffin on a charge of exceeding the posted speed limit by 6-10 mph.
On March 25, Ashley Helton, 37, Mountain View, was ticketed at 7:38 p.m. by Reserve Officer Wardrip on a charge of an animal at large.
On March 28, Joshua Allen, 47, Mountain View, was ticketed at 6:47 p.m. by Reserve Officer Jacob Brixey on a charge of failure to show proof of insurance. Later that evening, Heath Glasscock, 30, Mountain View, was ticketed at 8:11 p.m. by Reserve Officer Brixey on a charge of failure to show proof of insurance.
On March 29, Jacob Burton, 22, Mountain View, was ticketed at 6:00 p.m. by Reserve Officer Wardrip on a charge of careless and imprudent driving. Burton was ticketed again at 7:36 p.m. by Cpl. Kylie McGee on an unspecified charge.
On March 31, Megnon Baskins, 37, Hartshorn, was ticketed at 4:14 a.m. by Reserve Officer Brixey on charges of failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to show proof of insurance. At 7:39 a.m., Dalton Turner, 27, Sefner, Fla., was ticketed by Patrolman Matthew Combs on a charge of exceeding the posted speed limit by 11-15 mph.
On April 1, Darrin Walls, 21, Mountain View, was ticketed at 2:53 p.m. by Sgt. Griffin on charges of trespassing and harassment. At 11:19 p.m., a 16-year-old youth from Mountain View was ticketed by Reserve Officer Brixey on a charge of failure to register a motor vehicle.
On April 6, Katherine Woolsey, 39, Mountain View, was ticketed at 8:29 a.m. by Reserve Officer Wardrip on a charge of exceeding the posted speed limit by 11-15 mph.
On April 7, Jose Flores Manzanarez, 37, Mountain View, was ticketed at 9:45 p.m. by Reserve Officer Brixey on a charge of exceeding the posted speed limit by 6-10 mph.
On April 8, Aidan Tuttle, 18, Birch Tree, was ticketed at 5:06 p.m. by Reserve Officer Wardrip on a charge of exceeding the posted speed limit by 31-35 mph. At 5:29 p.m., Mathis Hubner, 20, Fredrick, Md., was ticketed by Patrolman Combs on a charge of exceeding the posted speed limit by 16-19 mph. Crystal Dailey, 46, Birch Tree, was ticketed at 9:58 p.m. by Reserve Officer Brixey on charges of failure to register a motor vehicle, displaying or possessing plates of another, and failure to wear a seat belt.
On April 9, Michael Brooks, 56, Birch Tree, was ticketed at 5:02 p.m. by Sgt. Griffin on a charge of failure to register a motor vehicle.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
On March 20, Patrolman Koleman McDaniel responded to a verbal disturbance where a woman reported her child's grandparent was beating on her door; the woman only wanted the grandparent to see officers so she would leave. Sgt. Griffin took a report for a traffic crash.
On March 21, Cpl. McGee cleared debris from the road, served papers at three locations, and responded to a peace disturbance where a man was fixing subwoofers in his driveway. The man stopped before she arrived and said he would not continue that night. She also conducted two traffic stops, issuing warnings.
On March 22, Cpl. McGee conducted two follow-up investigations for the Children's Division. She also assisted a father who reported his 14-year-old child was trying to jump from a moving vehicle; the child's mother arrived and calmed the youth, taking them home without further incident. She conducted one traffic stop and issued a warning.
On March 23, Assistant Chief Trenton Roberts was contacted about stolen campaign signs, but the victim declined to pursue charges. Reserve Officer Wardrip assisted a stalled semi-truck in the road. Reserve Officer Wardrip and Assistant Chief Roberts responded to a verbal disturbance regarding the stolen signs; no charges were pressed, but a business asked that a man be trespassed. Reserve Officer Wardrip advised a speeding driver near the football field and advised a man entering a culvert under the highway to use the crosswalk. Wardrip also conducted two traffic stops, issuing a warning and a ticket for failure to register a vehicle. Assistant Chief Roberts took an accident report. Patrolman Combs checked a commercial alarm and found the building secure.

Wardrip also trapped a raccoon outside a woman's car for animal control. Chief Stetson Schwien assisted ambulance personnel with a woman in respiratory distress. Sgt. Patrolman Combs verified a warrant for the Willow Springs Police Department.
On March 26, Patrolman Combs advised a dog owner to keep their pets on a leash. He attempted to locate a speeding red Corvette and advised two youths parked at storage sheds to go home.

On March 28, Assistant Chief Roberts checked on an elderly man whose phone was not working and an elderly man parked at Apple Market who denied needing medical help. Reserve Officer Brixey conducted ten traffic stops, issuing nine warnings and one ticket for no insurance. Cpl. McGee gave a courtesy ride to a stranded motorist after failing to jump-start their vehicle. She also conducted a traffic stop, issuing a warning. Reserve Officer Brixey conducted two additional traffic stops, issuing a warning and a ticket for no insurance. Cpl. McGee arrested a female driver on a Shannon County warrant during a traffic stop. She also received a found debit card.
On March 29, Assistant Chief Roberts provided information on obtaining a hardship license. Reserve Officer Wardrip placed a dog found at Casey's in the city pound and arrested an individual on a city warrant. Cpl. McGee conducted two traffic stops, issuing a warning and a ticket for careless and imprudent driving.
On March 30, Assistant Chief Roberts arrested a woman on a West Plains warrant. Reserve Officer Brixey advised a caller that no lost wallet had been turned in. He also conducted four traffic stops, issuing warnings. Cpl. McGee took a domestic report with property damage, but the victim declined to press charges.

On April 3, Assistant Chief Roberts verified a text message was a scam for a man, took a crash report where a city vehicle struck a parked truck, and assisted ambulance personnel with a patient near Jam Up Creek.
On April 4, Assistant Chief Roberts searched for an intoxicated person asking for rides near McDonald's and checked a nursing home for a missing person at the request of Shannon County deputies. Cpl. McGee found an unconscious man in a ditch who woke up, refused medical care, and was given a ride home. She also checked a commercial alarm, finding the building secure, and stood by for a custody exchange.
On April 5, Cpl. McGee took a burglary report and conducted a traffic stop, issuing a warning. Assistant Chief Roberts answered questions regarding the previous night's burglary.
