Cpl. J.L. Dedmon, with Troop G of the patrol, Willow Springs, reported the woman was a passenger in an eastbound 2016 Nissan Sentra when she tried to climb from a back seat onto the roof and fell.

She was taken by Texas County Memorial Ambulance to Cox South Medical Center in Springfield for treatment, the report shows. Neither she nor the driver, a 20-year-old Mtn. Grove woman, were wearing seat belts.

A 62-year-old woman from Ava suffered moderate injuries when her dump truck overturned at 2 p.m. Monday on County Road 210, 8 miles east of Ava in Douglas County.
