The Missouri Department of Transportation is performing concrete replacement work on P Highway in Shannon County, requiring a localized closure with a temporary bypass.
The affected section of roadway is located between County Road 289 and County Road P-B near Bunker. While work is underway, a one-lane bypass with temporary traffic lights is in place to direct traffic.
Weather permitting, crews are on-site from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through Thursday. The project began Monday.
The active work zone is marked with signs, and motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
