Cement truck rollover causes serious injuries for driver

A Mtn. View man suffered serious injuries when his cement truck overturned at 9 a.m. Monday on Highway 19 in Shannon County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Msgt. M.J. Chastain, with Troop G of the patrol, Willow Springs, reported a northbound 2003 Sterling cement truck driven by a the 59-year-old man ran off the right side of the road 12 miles north of Eminence.

The driver was wearing a seat belt and was flown by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment, the report shows.

 

Mtn. View man injured in Sunday rollover

Another driver, a 30-year-old man from Mtn. View, was hurt in a rollover accident at 6 p.m. Sunday on County Road 526, 8 miles northeast of Winona in Shannon County.

Tpr. J.S. Cunningham reported a westbound 2018 Jeep Wrangler driven by the man ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, struck a tree and overturned.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was taken by ambulance to Mercy St. Francis Hospital in Mtn. View for treatment, the report shows.

Cunningham was assisted at the scene by Cpl. T.D. Pond.

 

West Plains teen seriously injured in Friday crash

A 16-year-old West Plains boy suffered serious injuries in a crash at 6:25 a.m. Friday on County Road 6070, a half-mile west of West Plains.

Msgt. T.W. Meyer reported a southbound 2012 Chevrolet Traverse driven by the teen crossed the center line and struck the end of a bridge.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was taken by South Howell County Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment, the report shows.

 

Rolla man injured in Saturday Shannon Co. crash

A 27-year-old Rolla man suffered moderate injuries in a crash at 5 p.m. Saturday on V Highway, 5 miles northeast of Eminence in Shannon County.

Msgt. M.J. Chastain reported a southbound 2015 Chevrolet Cruze driven by the man ran off the left side of the road and struck a ditch.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was taken by Mercy Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment, the report shows.

 

Republic man injured in Thursday collision on Hwy. 142

A 22-year-old Republic man suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at noon Thursday on south Highway 17 at Highway 142 in Lanton.

Msgt. Meyer reported a westbound 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by a 41-year-old Koshkonong man failed to yield to a northbound 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by the man from  Republic.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. The driver of the Jeep was taken by private vehicle to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment, the report shows. No injuries were reported for the driver of the Dodge.
