An 89-year-old West Plains woman suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 3:45 p.m. Thursday on Kentucky Avenue in West Plains, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Msgt. S.L. Nelson, with Troop G of the patrol, Willow Springs, reported an eastbound 2021 Ford Explorer driven by a 43-year-old West Plains man was exiting a private drive, made a left turn and struck a southbound 2010 Easygo golf cart driven by the woman.
The woman was exempt from using a safety device and was taken by South Howell Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment, the report shows. No injuries were reported for the driver of the Ford, who wore a seat belt.
