April 4
Madison Marie Sizemore, Willow Springs, was ticketed by Officer Ryan McGinnis at 10:25 a.m.
and 1:30 p.m. on a charge of having a vicious animal. In his report of the incident, McGinnis
noted he responded to a location on North Grand Street with Reserve Officer Jim Hedlesten and
Officer Denny Cunningham for an animal attack call. They were on scene from 9:50 to 11:30
a.m., during which time three animals were impounded by Animal Control Officer Andy Logan
and the two tickets were issued.
April 10
Angie Kathleen Norland, Willow Springs, was ticketed by Officer McGinnis at 12:53 p.m. on
charges of driving a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility, speeding by 11-15 mph
over and leaving the scene of a crash.
April 13
Jon Matthew Ellsworth, Dexter, was ticketed by Officer Cunningham at 5:37 p.m. on a charge of
failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
At 7:30 p.m., Lt. Mike Zeller reported two people who had no legitimate reason to be there were
found inside a vacant apartment on East Main Street.

April 16
Officer Barnhouse took a report of a hit-and-run at 12:13 p.m. on U.S. 60 near Pine Grove Road.
Investigation is ongoing.
April 20
Lt. Zeller reported that between 4:30 p.m. April 17 and 6 a.m. April 19, someone damaged the
sign in front of Yarber Mortuary on East Main Street. Plastic panels on both sides were broken
and the lights torn out.
April 23
ACO Logan reported that between 3:30 and 4:15 p.m., a tom turkey was running at large on
East Ninth Street.
April 24
At 7:07 p.m., Officer Barnhouse completed an incident report regarding a local business on Main
Street refusing a service animal.
