Officers Joe Barnhouse and Mark Templemere responded to West Plains Bank at 12:48 p.m. to take a report regarding a scam.
May 21
Officer Ryan McGinnis took a report of stealing from Snappy Mart on South Harris Street just after midnight.
May 22
At 10:05 p.m., Officer Corey Clark arrested a man on an active Willow Springs warrant across from Yarber Mortuary on East Main Street. The man was transported to the police department, where he was booked, posted bond and released.
May 27
Chief Wes Ellison was dispatched at 10 a.m. to East High Street to assist the Children's Division regarding an allegation of child abuse or neglect.
May 31
A man went to the police station to report a forgery. Lt. Michael Zeller reported the incident was ultimately unfounded after determining the man made misleading statements about his wife forging his signature on a check.
June 4
Meghan Jodeci-Ann Garcia, Willow Springs, was ticketed by Officer Barnhouse at 2:24 p.m. on a charge of assault. Officer Barnhouse had responded to an East High Street address for a domestic disturbance. The parties were separated, and one citation for assault was issued.
June 6
At 11:30 p.m., Officer Barnhouse arrested and booked a suspect at Dollar General on East Main Street for an outstanding warrant out of West Plains.
June 7
Officer Corey Clark responded at 10:37 p.m. to a non-njury hit-and-run crash on Park Street. After canvassing the area, Clark located a vehicle matching the suspect's description with white paint transfer and passenger-side damage. The owner admitted to driving in the area but stated she had blacked out and did not remember being in a crash. The victim declined to press charges for the hit-and-run, but the driver was issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility.
June 9
At 10:27 a.m., Chief Ellison took a report at the police department regarding an assault on the reporting party's stepdaughter.
