Aimee Jarrett has returned to Ozarks Healthcare as vice president of ambulatory services.
Jarrett, a Summersville native, previously served Ozarks Healthcare in several roles. She has more than two decades of health care leadership experience and began her career in primary care clinics serving rural patients.
“This role gives me the opportunity to return to the community where I was raised and where I began my health care career,” Jarrett said. “I am not just coming in as a new executive — I am returning home with a deep personal investment in the health and well-being of my neighbors, family and friends.”
Jarrett holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in health care administration from William Woods University and bachelor’s degrees in business and psychology.
Throughout her career, she has served in several leadership roles, including clinic coordinator, clinic manager, director of clinic operations, director of women’s and children’s services, and chief operations officer for a community health center focused on integrated primary and behavioral health care.
As vice president of ambulatory services, Jarrett will oversee Ozarks Healthcare’s clinic operations and outpatient services. Her priorities include supporting employees, expanding access to care and strengthening health care services in the region.
“My first priority is making sure our coworkers feel appreciated,” Jarrett said. “I want this to be the best place to work and to be proud of that work. I also want to expand services further into our rural areas and the West Plains area, meeting patients where they are.”
Jarrett said her interest in rural health care comes from growing up and working in small communities where access to care can be limited by transportation, cost and other barriers.
“Aimee’s extensive leadership experience, commitment to patient-centered care and understanding of the unique needs of rural communities make her an excellent addition to our leadership team,” said Ozarks Healthcare President and CEO Terence Farrell. “We are excited to welcome her back home and look forward to the positive impact she will have on our patients, coworkers and communities.”
