Robust crowd welcomes The Bookshop to Court Square
The Bookshop officially opened its doors to the public with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Aug. 22. Owner and operator Jamie Stauffer, center, cuts the ribbon outside the new storefront at 4 Court Square in West Plains. Holding the ribbon are Mayor Mike Topliff, joined by his wife, Pam, on the left, and Chamber of Commerce ambassador Kathleen Hensley on the right. An estimated 50 people attended the grand opening. The business is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
