Templeton, Pete and Ajax are just a few of the kittens at the West Plains Regional Animal Shelter, 1486 BB Highway. All cats and dogs are spayed or neutered before they are adopted, and most currently housed are up to date on shots and deworming, says volunteer Trish Hammen. “Come check out all of the shelter's kitties,” she invites. “The shelter has several dogs to choose from also.” The fee to adopt cats is $45, and to adopt dogs, it is $50. The shelter continues to need newspapers, cat and dog food, cheap clay cat litter and financial donations to help finish the interior of the new building that is under construction on the same property as the current building.
